WEGOD in Action

WEGOD hosts an annual Summer Fun Day at Yorktown Square and Rivermeade Apartments. The event is a day filled with music, food, and fun.  WEGOD also curates various types of vendors and speakers to help inform and expose youth to help expose youth to various occupations. 

WEGOD's annual Back to School Picnic provides school supplies and back-to-school services to families in The Woods at Yorktown community.  This program also includes food and fun activities designed to engage the entire family and build community.  Click HERE to see scenes from our last event!

Our 10-month transition program focuses on helping students explore, prepare for, and pursue various opportunities before graduating high school. Whether their interest is in college, the military, or employment, WEGOD staff will help students hit the ground running the day after graduation.
